Gosford Tennis Club Competitions

We have a range of competitions for players of all ages, levels/abilities throughout the week that will give you a good workout, meet new people, help you improve your game and player rating.

Please see the table below for all of our current weekly competitions, comp weeks run parallel to the school/ coaching term (10 wk term) and may run during school holidays dependent upon player interest and availability.

Most of our comps are now UTR registered! UTR is a global rating system promoting fair and competitive play worldwide in tennis. All players, regardless of age, gender, geography, and skill level are rated based on match results on the same scale between 1.00 and 16.50. For more information and to register for UTR please follow the link provided below. We encourage all our members and players to register as we can then apply this to all our weekly competitions and help you keep track of your player rating!

UTR Monday Night Singles

We are excited to restart our men & women Match Play again on Monday nights at Gosford Tennis Club.Join us for Verified UTR Matchplay.
This event is open to all players and all levels. We will group players based on their UTR/level to provide competitive matches and level-based play. Limited numbers – Get rated or improve your Verified UTR Rating.All scores count towards Verified UTR. – All players will be placed in a 2-hour window, with a 2-match guarantee.Matches will be 2 out of 3 FAST4 sets, no AD-scoring, 7 pt tiebreak at 3-3, and 10 pt super tiebreaker in lieu of 3rd setOrganise your mates and join us for 2 x matches in 2 hours, increase your UTR Rating, have fun and win prizes!

Tuesday Night Open Doubles

Whether you’re a top A Grade player or looking to get back into tennis we can cater for all! Enjoy a good hit out and don’t have to commit to playing every week!

Format: 3 sets of Doubles, playing with a different partner each set, tie break at 5 all. Men and Ladies both welcome
Time: 7.00pm – 9.30pm

$15.50 per player

NON MEMBERS – $17.50
Wednesday Ladies Midweek 4 players per team, doubles competition commencing from 9.00am – 2.00pm, breaking for lunch. This is played at various Central Coast Clubs. Must be a member of the club plus a fee of $8.00 per player paid on comp day.

Super Series

Organised for our elite and tournament/ competition players looking to push themselves and play against the best on the coast. Different formats each week catering for green ball through to 5+

Time: 12:15pm registration – 5:00pm

Organised for our elite and tournament/ competition players looking to push themselves and play against the best on the coast. UTR 4+ & UTR 6+ every Sunday, pending events or weather.

Format: Full sets and a super tie break

Time: 9:30am – 2:00pm
